1. Data Storage & Local Processing

Your privacy is our priority. Spoilr stores your food inventory, saved money, and app settings strictly locally on your device using Apple's secure AppGroup and UserDefaults. We do not maintain user accounts or store your personal data on our servers.

2. AI Features & Data Sharing

To power the 'Magic Combo Recipe' and 'Receipt Scanner' features, we use third-party Artificial Intelligence providers. When you use these features, we only transmit the strictly necessary data to our AI partners (OpenAI):

Selected food information (name, cost) to generate recipes.
Images uploaded (receipts) are used solely for text extraction and are NEVER stored or used to train AI models.
No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is transmitted during this process.

3. Analytics & Diagnostics

We may collect anonymized crash reports and usage data (provided voluntarily through Apple) to improve app performance and stability.

4. Your Consent

By using the AI features within the app, you explicitly consent to the temporary processing of your input data by our AI providers as described above.
